Fear and anticipation struggled in my heart when I stepped for the first time into the roller coaster last year while summer vacation. As the little car chugged up the steep incline, my timidity faded. I peeped over the edge of the miniature train to look down upon the park which was rapidly growing smaller before my eyes. Suddenly, with mounting terror, I found myself reaqdy to fall into space. The car rushed down to the accompaniment of my screams of terror. Hardly had I gained my breath when the chariot again ascended, then descended once more. About five times of this up-and-down sickening motion and then the terrifying round ended with sudden abruptness. Smiling bravely for the benefit of the watching crowd, I stepped on steady ground.
